Challenge
Bioneer has an open opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Business Developer who masters the scientific sell, the ability to effectively convert prospects to long term customer relationships and who enjoys breaking new commercial grounds in an engaged, respectful and team-oriented work environment.
You will be responsible for driving commercial activities related to Bioneer’s In Vitro Modelling (IVM) business area including drug discovery services within CNS, Cancer and Immunology to accelerate their customers’ development of novel therapeutics.
Typical CNS solutions include the development of iPSC-derived neurodegenerative assays and disease models and a platform for gene editing, reprogramming, cell banking, and advanced data analysis. Cancer/Immunology solutions comprise a broad range of advanced assays and tools to assess the safety and efficacy of drug candidates in for example multi-cellular BioSPHEER™ 3D Cancer models and in tissue.
Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Drive commercial strategy development, develop and execute Sales/Marketing plans for CNS, Cancer and Immunology IVM solutions to grow sales and to achieve company goals
- Identify, qualify and prospect new leads to feed and maintain significant customer project pipeline
- Network and build relationships with customers, customer prospects, strategic partners, and with industry networks including consultants
- Develop, negotiate and win customer contracts in close collaboration with R&D project leaders and other key stakeholders
- Collaborate with R&D and marketing colleagues to build stable flow of news and service launches within defined focus areas
- Contribute proactively to open dialogue and coordination of customer projects, strategic collaborations and service offerings across all Bioneer business areas

Talent
You have a relevant education like M.Sc. degree within e.g. molecular biology, genetic engineering, biochemistry, medicine, neuroscience. At least 3 to 5 years of documented hands-on sales experience from the Life Science industry – ideally accustomed to working with strategic partners.
You have:
- A passion for engaging in scientific discussions with both internal teams and customers, leveraging their expertise to drive innovative solutions
- Strategic commercial mind-set with proven track record in converting leads to negotiated deals and in growing sales
- Accustomed to working independently and in cross-functional teams - and to solicit input from key stakeholders
- You enjoy travelling domestically/internationally (approx. 25%)
As a person you are ambitious and performance oriented and at the same time working together with others in a motivating style. You are positive, committed and full of drive. You think business oriented and have the ability to organize and plan processes that optimize and support your work. It is important that you are focused, can prioritize and keep calm when deadlines are tight. You are good at solving problems and thrive in a highly scientific environment. You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
