The Challenge
On behalf of Brenntag Nordic A/S, Best Talent is now looking for a Technical Sales Manager, Pharma covering the Pharmaceutical business in Denmark.
Your responsibility includes:
- Profit and loss responsibility of Pharma customers in Denmark
- Customer responsibilities include new customers and sales development on existing key customer relationships within the Pharma segment
- Promoting relevant products to Procure Departments, R&D and Business Development
- Responsible for sales and promotion of speciality products; Excipients, API´s for finished dosages and starter materials for fermentation and Synthesis
- Cooperation with customers in their formulation and application developments
- Responsible for identifying and prioritizing new sales projects with successfull closing
- Proactive approach to maintain business and develop the business
- Full cooperation with the Business Manager, Product managers, Customer Service Responsible team, Regulatory department, Purchase department and the Pharma EMEA team
Together with a very skilled team and support functions, this allows you to provide tailored & expert advise to customers and help them meet their objectives.
Your specific tasks and objectives include:
- Strategic and operational thinking and working
- Provide deep technical, application and formulation expertise
- Target oriented focusing and prioritizing
- Selling scope on products, added value services and customized solutions
- Able to handle short term and long term sales projects
- Maintain and build product, application and formulation knowledge
- Excellent in building relationships
- Identify projects with Pharma customers
- Maintain and update customer data, prizing and sales projects
- Work in a dynamic and matrix organization (Brenntag Nordic and Brenntag Pharma EMEA)
- Monthly reports on sales and projects
- Take part in a dynamic team and exchange knowledge and successes
Your Talent
You are experienced within B2B sales, preferably in the Pharmaceutical, Chemical industry or similar segments.
With a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or similar education including formulation expertise you will be the right match for this position. You possess strong technical background preferably and maybe combined with a few years in R&D within Pharmaceutical companies.
Through your business experience you are knowledgeable of the Pharmaceutical industry, regulations, market needs and application trends. This gives you capacity to run and drive Pharmaceutical technical and formulation projects for the customers.
You possess a winning personality, are self-driven with a great drive and used to and appreciate a dynamic environment while delivering high quality results. You have strong communication and negotiation skills as well as you are fluent in both Danish and English.
You are a team player, can work cross functional and see cooperation as the key to success. You understand the culture and the mechanisms in the business, which is vital for the decision-making process in the market. You are a strong relation-builder with a high level of people understanding combined with a good understanding of the Pharmaceutical field.
