Challenge
Büchi Labortechnik AG, the market leader within solutions for laboratory rotary evaporation, experiences great success also in the Nordics. A new role has therefore been created to be able to provide direct and outstanding service in Denmark and Sweden primarily covering the Øresund region.

It will be your responsibility to perform all service activities on Büchi Labortechnik AG’s own products, whether the client operates in R&D or Quality Control. The solutions which Büchi Labortechnik AG offers are tailor-made to cover a wide range of distinct needs and achieve highest convenience. As Service Technician working for Büchi Labortechnik AG you bring highly technical skills including a high service level and a commercial mindset to the customers. Together with the Nordic team you are an important key player in securing market growth and development in the Nordic region.

In close dialogue with the Nordic Sales Team in Denmark and in Sweden, you plan and structure your own workday that will be mostly in Denmark and southern part of Sweden, but you may occasionally be willing to travel to Stockholm. Training or special calls and travelling within Europe is required.

You must always strive to:

Ensure highest professional relationship with the customers to achieve customer loyalty and escalate issues if necessary to solve critical tasks in the best way possible
Proactively secure a strong cooperation with the regional sales team and your colleagues in the service team
Support with your technical assistance and know-how by installations, trainings, seminars, and the like
Optimize your own work schedule in dialogue with the Nordic team and the service department
In due time assure error registration
Assure alignment on your activities as required including right data reporting into the CRM System
Assure invoicing related to your working field in due time
Acquisition of service contracts to the customers when applicable
Participate in product trainings

You function well working home-based when not with your customers. You will report to the Manager of Customer Service of Büchi GmbH.

Your profile and Talent
You have a professional background within Electronics combined with strong IT and data understanding and proactiveness within the field. Preferably you have skills and know-how from the chemistry/laboratory field, but it is not a must. Most importantly is your personality and significant experience and on-going interest and curiosity in developing your technical skills.

You possess strong problem-solving skills and have demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with different priorities. You are service minded and at the same time commercial driven. You have strong communication skills when interacting with the clients and internally. You like people and have excellent inter-personal, self-motivational and negotiating skills.

You enjoy a changeable day, like to work remotely when not being with your clients. Estimated travelling is about 20 %, rest of the working days are local in the area Zealand, Lund, and Malmö.

Key words for your personality are self-driven, flexible and enjoy being responsible for your own planning in an at times hectic day, often with diversity and many activities.
