Global Biometrics consists of more than 31 highly skilled and engaged employees in Denmark, USA, Japan and China along with offshore capabilities. They are proud to be the Biometrics’ center of expertise for the whole Ferring Group and add value to projects providing state-of-the-art solutions and high-quality deliveries. They are divided into 4 teams, Clinical Data Management, Statistical Operations, Data Sciences and Biostatistics. Ferring Pharmaceuticals are now seeking an experienced, talented and motivated Senior Statistical Programmer for the Statistical Operations team in Global Biometrics department.
Ferring is about to move to their spectacular and state-of-the-art new domicile “Soundport” a future landmark located next to “Den Blå Planet”, near Copenhagen Airport. Here they expect to be more than 700 employees by end 2022.

The Challenge
If you like to put your statistical programming skills and mindset into actions and you are looking for a clearly not-average job as a Senior Statistical Programmer, you have it here. You will be part of a dynamic team of 4 highly motivated programmers and +15 external consultants in a stimulating international research environment, where high influence on the working processes can be gained.
You can expect to be working according to highest standards of current practice in order to fulfill the company’s needs for clinical data acceptable worldwide for regulatory submissions, planning future clinical research or marketing purposes. As Such, the team are proud of Global Biometrics reputation of achieving high quality deliverables within record-breaking timelines.
The main areas of responsibilities are to:
- Lead statistical programming activities within a project, including setting up tools for central monitoring
- Communicate to management on project status and resource issues
- Produce CDISC compliant datasets and associated documentation as per regulatory requirements
- Specify requirements, review and manage deliverables for outsourced trials/activities according to Global Biometrics standards
- Produce table, listing and figures for clinical trials reports
- Participate in the development of and ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies and guidelines
- Keeping up to date with technological development and regulatory updates within the area
- Establish, recommend and/or implement new ideas, focusing on efficiency gains within and across projects

Your Talent
You hold a bachelor or master’s degree and should have at least 3 years of experiences in Statistical Programming. Experience in Leading Statistical Programming activities and in producing CDISC complaint analysis datasets is a must. Working knowledge of other programming languages/packages (e.g. R, Java, Python, Visual Basic, SAS JMP clinical) and data visualization tools like Qlik and Spotfire or similar is an advantage. Experience with the full width of statistical programming processes and related processes/interactions is an asset as well.
As a person you are ambitious, dedicated and have a passion for programming. You can work independently and as part of a project team and are keen on working in a multicultural environment. You have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset, always in search of efficiency gains. Fluency in English with good verbal and written language skills is a given.
