The Team
The Global Science Translation and Advocacy Segment Team is a growing group of scientists within the Health, Nutrition & Care Innovation organization, that advocates for the science regarding nutrition in health and the nutrient needs of individuals and populations. STA develops and advocates for scientifically substantiated nutritional “health benefit solutions” that provide health benefits for specific populations of people across the lifespan (i.e. nutritional ingredients or bundles of ingredients that support brain development and health, immunity, gut & digestive health, eye health, heart heath, mobility, and other benefits). We co-develop and substantiate messaging and claims using a scientific evidence grading approach. We engage with scientific experts and thought leaders, to obtain guidance and expert endorsement of our science, as well as for outreach and advocacy. We are organized via business segment (i.e. early life nutrition, medical nutrition, dietary supplements, pharma, nutritional improvement, and food & beverage).
