The Challenge
On behalf of Merck Life Science, Best Talent is now looking for an Account Manager Denmark– Process Solutions. The Account Manager is responsible for the sales revenues and the position focuses on continually sales growth through existing and new customers and supports the awareness of the portfolio throughout the field. Your focus will be on several Biopharmaceutical & Pharmaceutical manufacturing customers in Denmark. You will drive the business forward within this territory.
You are knowledgeable of the Pharma Processing product line, including Filters, Single Use, Cell Culture Media, Biological, Dry Powder & Liquid Buffers & GMP process chemicals used in customer’s Biological & Pharmaceutical production processes.
This will allow you, together with a very skilled team and support functions, to provide tailored & experts advise to customers and help them meet their objectives. You maintain the current business along with growing new, by developping the market potential. You grow the sales by acquisition of new customers and leads, market research, keep contact and up-sell to existing customers, renew contracts, negotiate with the customer, set up quotations and deliver agreements/contracts.
You are negotiating pricing and managing detailed contracts & agreements with customers. You will develop and maintain a broad and deep customer network at all levels with prospective customers and maintain relationships with existing ones. You will define strategic and tactical plans and deliver accurate business forecasts on a quarterly basis or as requested by management. This position will allow you to develop strong internal relationships within the global organization and coordinate these internal resources to address customers' needs.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to attend training courses, customer audits and national & international meetings.

You possess a winning personality, and you have a strong insight and knowledge of the Life Science segment in Denmark. You therefore understand the culture and the mechanisms in the business, which is vital for the decisionmaking process in the market. You are a strong relation-builder with a high level of people understanding combined with a good understanding of the scientific field, preferably with specific knowledge within process solution.
- You have a Bachelor, Master, or equivalent degree preferably within Biotechnology/Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent qualification
- You have proven sales experience
- You enjoy playing an important commercial role in the market
- You are good at developing the market on your own but also being part of a supportive team
- You have minimum 3 years of directly related experience
- You are proficient in Danish and English
- You are preferably located in the capital region in Denmark
